About Our Client

My client is one of the largest companies in the world. At a global level, the company is primarily known as an energy corporation. However, in China, the core focus of its business lies in lubricants. My client is looking for a motivated and capable Senior Sales Manager to join their team in Shanghai.

Job Description

  • Oversee sales team to maximize team customer facing and selling efforts
  • Contribute to regional volume and margin growth
  • Ensure the sales team and distributors are effectively implementing the proper sales tools and systems
  • Push sales & marketing initiatives through distributors to end channels and customers
  • Develop and maintain key customers in the region
  • Lead and train sales team through coaching and implementation of the performance management process
  • Bolster the sales capability and knowledge of the distributor sales team and organizations

The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience
  • Knowledge of China consumer lubricants market and channels would be a big plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin
  • Past experience in planning, budgeting, and control
  • Solid skill set in both strategy and execution
  • Strong business acumen
  • Willingness to lead and take initiative
