Our client is a leading Foreign Bank who is growing its business in China and the Asia region. They have a reputation for having a people focused strategy and as a result of an internal promotion are now looking for an experienced Risk Manager.

The Successful Applicant

• Over 8 years Co-operations experience in the bank or financial institutions;
• Operation Risk Management background preferred;
• Good knowledge of compliance & regulatory control / rules / market practice
• Good sense of understanding regulations
• Sound computer system knowledge
• Sound commercial banking products knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good people management / supervisory skills
• Good influential skills
• Good team work spirit
• Excellent English & PC skills as well as good command of Mandarin - both speaking and writing.
• Dynamic, change focused, proactive and objective driven.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with multi-cultural awareness.
• Good macro economic knowledge;
• Continual self study and self motivation capacity.
