After intensive and extensive strategic marketing planning, organizational changes, major product portfolio and supply chain management upgrade, our client China is ready to implement the first phase of the growth Vision.

Job Description

To plan, direct and control marketing activities for the company specifically on new product development, manage and monitor consumer/trade promotion, advertising & promotion budget, concept development so as to achieve overall marketing objectives and sales goal.

  • Formulate marketing strategy of the new categories to meet consumer needs, build brand equity, and achieve company financial objectives
  • Lead the team to develop and implement marketing plans to achieve market share growth and company financial objectives
  • Consistently monitor the brand health and build strong equity image
  • Draw up plans and monitor the implementation to ensure the process is in compliance with company policies, guidelines, budgets.
  • Identify incremental volume and growth opportunities to be addressed with new products and packages. Develop and manage launch and roll-out plans
  • Maintains on-going surveillance of the market. Identifies business opportunities available by type. Determine strategies necessary t acquires the business.
  • Manage assigned marketing budget

The Successful Applicant

  • Education: University Degree or above / MBA is preferable
  • Experience: 5 years or above relevant experience in brand management / New product development experience is preferable
  • Translate overall category objectives into brand marketing plans
  • Identify product positioning based on consumer insights and trade trends Consumer Insight/Research
  • Set clear research objectives and requirements to support category brand objectives
  • Develop a solid understanding of research methodologies, objectives and business issues
  • Identify consumer needs and preference based on market research data
  • Identify product positioning against target consumers Trade/Sales
  • Work on the product development process Media & Promotion
