About Our Client
Well - recognized FMCG industry leader with strong reputation in Southern China and now looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their newly established plant in Foshan.

Job Description

Reporting to the Plant General Manager, you will be in charge of the whole department supervising a team for the overall purchasing functions including direct and indirect purchasing. Based in one of the newly established factory at Foshan, you will be working closely with purchasing managers of other plants in China. Main responsibility includes:

• This job holder work very closely with sales, marketing, production, planning, engineering and finance department etc.
• Responsible for the overall purchasing functions of the whole plant, including raw material direct sourcing and indirect sourcing (i.e.office supply, machinery etc)
• As a member of the purchasing committee, to assess and endorse the major purchasing contract.
• Work closely with the Regional Purchasing Director to negotiate the best price for the supply covering China and HK for cost and quality effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor Degree holder with more than 6 years working experience in FMCG companies.
• Professional knowledge in purchasing function, preferably with team management experience
• Strong communication skills in both Chinese and English, Cantonese will be a plus.
