About Our Client

Our client is a leading player in solar energy industry. As a listed company, our client has strong market presence in China markets.

Job Description

1. Evaluate the project bidding process and set the priority of project funding demand from the project pipelines

2. Review the financial model at a high level and ensure the results produced are consistent with the assumptions in the model

3. Support global commercial team with financial analysis as required during commercial negotiations.

4. Work with an Integrated Project Team, corporate treasurer, and Consortium partners to provide project structured finance proposal and prepare documents for debt financing

5. Be the primary interface to project funding sources, such as banks, ECAs, investment fund, to facilitate/secure equity and debt funding to ongoing infrastructure project

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in banking /finance -related field preferred
• Minimum 6 years infrastructure project finance/project loan experience
• In-depth knowledge of funding structures, investment and debt instruments and documentation
• Competence in financial modeling
• Minimum 6 years infrastructure project finance experience
• Good knowledge of accounting and taxation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as the role involves interacting both in writing, by phone, and in person
• Good relationship with Chinese and Asian policy/commercial banks and other financial institutions, familiar with the decision making/approval process in those banks
