About Our Client
Van Shung Chong Holdings Limited ("VSC" or the "Company") and its subsidiaries (together the "VSC Group") is a leading distributor and processor of quality construction and industrial materials, playing a significant role in the building, the infrastructure development and the manufacturing industries in Hong Kong and Mainland China. VSC is now in the process of establishing an independent Scrap Metal business in China, headquartered in Shanghai; they are now seeking applications from outstanding and industry relevant candidates for the following positions
Job Description
Working in conjunction with the President of the newly founded Business unit you will oversee the set up of the inaugural operations in China and ultimately establish and manage a number of collection processing and distribution facilities around the country have a broad range of responsibilities including, staffing, sourcing, quality, customer care, production and marketing and sales. You will also focus on identifying and investigating further business opportunities for further market penetration and ensure oversight and direction in a highly regulated environment in compliance with corporate guidelines.
The Successful Applicant
This is a strategic Management role with a high level of responsibility and autonomy. You will be degree qualified in either Engineering or Business Management disciplines with a demonstrable track record of setting up and running a Scrap Metals business in Asia; Greater China preferably. You will have all around business management capabilities with excellent leadership and communication skills, strong business development ability and be fluent in English (written and oral) Mandarin is preferred but not essential
