About Our Client
Our client has extensive retail and wholesale interests in sports and lifestyle footwear and apparel. They operate a chain of more then 1200 outlets across Asia of their licensed brands.
Job Description
You will be responsible for the overall management of the wholesales distribution and retail operations of own sourced and licensed brands in China, with key focus on retail shops operations,distribution network development, sales and marketing planning, inventory management and staff management. You will need to build a strong partnership relationship with the product and marketing teams in brand management while maintain fluent communication flow with external business contacts as well as the local government officials.
The Successful Applicant
- A minimum 10 years of managerial experience with significant exposure to the wholesales and/or retail market in China
- Strong in distribution network and capable in channel development
- A thorough understanding of brand management and positioning.
- A self-motivated individual with excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, strategic planning and staff development skills is essential
- Familiar with leisure sports/outdoor products.
- Candidates with FMCG and consumer goods background will also be considered
- The capacity to work and grow in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
- Fluency in Mandarin and English
