Job Description

• As a credit analyst of the loan department in the Local Commercial Banking (LCB) covering small and medium sized corporate enterprises.
• Analyze credit proposals, reviews and memos submitted by Sales/Relationship Teams.
• Identify risk areas and make proper recommendations.
• Analyze the customer’s business and financials, and help Sales/Relationship Teams to structure the facility including product offering and collateral requirement, whenever necessary in accordance to Commercial Markets Risk Policies.
• Perform due diligence on customer credit calls/factory visits whenever necessary.
• Handle other credit related jobs as assigned by supervisor or Head.

The Successful Applicant

• University graduate in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Business Studies and related experience as a Credit Analyst in Commercial/Corporate Banking areas in Foreign Banks or major local banks. If with SME/private enterprises in China is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills in processing the financial and business information and reasonable credit writing ability.
• Good knowledge of the market, customer’s requirement and general banking products, and reasonably good understanding of SAFE/CBRC/PBOC’s regulations and different manufacturing/trade patterns.
• Good written and spoken English
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Have strong initiative and high level of integrity
