About Our Client
Our client is an established international player in the Custody and Investor Services space. This is a senior role in charge of building the China business for the firm.

Job Description

• Build the China business out and be the primary executive for key client contacts regionally
• Execute regional expansion mandates and sales strategy plans
• Build relationships with key institutional clients across mainland China, including local banks, fund houses and insurance firms; originate new mandates
• Establish the firm’s position as a key player in the global Custody and Investor Services space within mainland China
• Work closely with the HK and Global head offices to ensure a strong business network throughout the region
• Ensure compliance with regulatory policy and build strong relationships with local regulators
• Provide senior management team with market updates, feedback and strategic proposals to support growth of the business

The Successful Applicant

• Strong individual sales track record with several years experience in managing a sales-focused team, either at a country or regional level
• Ability to build relationships with institutional clients in mainland China, especially state-owned entities and major funds
• Excellent English and Mandarin language skills are a must
