Job Description

- Work closely with Markets Leaders, Partners and Function heads to identify key targets

- Develop and deliver a business development strategy for automotive to increase our client base

- Identify and gather information on new client issues through meetings and networking

- Identify business issues that correspond with client services

- Drive business development initiatives, develop and maintain profitable business relationships and extend our client's presence in the automotive sector

The Successful Applicant

- University graduate, with a minimum of 10-12 years experience in the automotive industry, or in consulting to the sector

- Significant experience of a client-facing role and/or an understanding of the professional services market would be an advantage

- Proven knowledge of the automotive business in China with established relationships with key business leaders and associations within the industry

- Effective networker with ability to understand client needs

- Demonstrated success in identifying, initiating, and nurturing business opportunities

- Experience in developing and leading relationship building activities with high level executives

- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure

- Strong influencing and negotiating skills

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Willingness and ability to travel and be flexible

- Fluency in both written and oral Mandarin (Putonghua) and English is required
