About Our Client
Our client is a top tier European Commercial Bank. This is a new position in the bank's Korean Corporate Banking team, working with senior coverage bankers, and is a combination role of external Client Servicing and internal Business Management.

Job Description

Relationship Management

• Work closely as a team with the Credit Analyst (CA) and Client Coverage Manager (CCM) assisting senior coverage bankers in deepening relationships and driving revenue growth.
• Responsible for post deal account maintenance and helping to manage the risk associated with the portfolio.
• Client calling and briefing on a regular basis for account maintenance and deal negotiation.
• Attend to client inquiries and offer solutions promptly; maintain a good working relationship with both business and operational departments on the client side
• Effectively use CRM for managing a healthy pipeline and also a record of client calls and discussions.
• Drive client events / entertainments by coordinating with internal stakeholders and with client(s)
• Ensure smooth on-boarding process for clients by coordinating with the relevant departments internally and externally

Business Management

• Act as a key Business Manager for the senior Korea Team coverage bankers
• Ensure quality of the sales pitch and marketing materials. Also review the Term sheets with senior RMs before delivering to clients.
• Effectively use CRM for managing a healthy pipeline and also a record of client calls and discussions
• Responsible for preparing briefing notes for senior management calls.
• Also engage internal stakeholders for marketing, credit and any other pertinent issues.

The Successful Applicant

• Degree in a business-related discipline A few years experience in a Sales or Client Service role in a foreign bank
• Experience working in a Corporate/SME banking setting is essential
• Strong English communication skills, preferably good Chinese language
• Korean language is NOT required
• Current Corporate RMs seeking a non-sales focused role in the sector are encouraged to apply
