My client is a leading manufacturer sites in more than 20 counties and research and development centers globally.
This is a private held company that has over 2500 employers and their products are full range of additives.
Their success rests on their ability to partner with their suppliers and customers and help them to bring products to market quickly.
With the rapid growth of the Asia market, my client has expanded very quickly in this region especially greater China.
They had set up two major offices in both shanghai and HK.
Sales Rep base in Shanghai, Chengdu, Shandong,Guangzhou
Achievement of planned sales, revenue and profit goals for East China, West China, South China
*Develop the sales targets with & define the sales objectives
*Manage & Supervise the Sales team in the territory to achieve the sales objectives and implement the Sales strategy
*Involve in all business related issues which can impact profitability, costs, customer service e.g. effective management of local inventory.
*Monitor the pricing across the product types and customers in the territory & initiate appropriate actions and controls in case of deviation.
*Implement the business strategies of business units in the region to achieve individual business objective with closely working with respective Market Development & Business Managers
*Develop & build the new accounts & business Regular visits to current accounts for the sustaining & improving the sales positions. Exploit opportunities; negotiate major sales contracts & rebates in key accounts in the territory. Establishes and builds strong client relationship over time that allow for continuity and ongoing representation reinforced by sales support/new products introductions and communication to other relevant company functions/division
*Bachelor degree in Plastic, Polymer or related discipline. An advanced degree such as an MBA is preferred, although appropriate business experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are the key requirements.
*5-10 years of overall experience in Sales / Marketing/Business Development or technical service with a minimum of 3 years of direct sales experience in the Polymer/Plastic sales or Pigment Industry regionally or in a country.
*Must be dynamic, Aggressive, self driven, target oriented and highly motivated
