Job Description

Coverage Planning:

  • Define data needs required for planning activities
  • Drive objective analysis of market opportunity and situation to provide headcount, territory alignment, and account allocation recommendations for assigned franchise(s)
  • Work with franchise leadership to align on accounts allocation recommendations
  • Support assigned franchise(s) in deployment of accounts allocation recommendations
  • Provide analytical perspective on potential disputes Tactical Planning:
  • Design automated templates for PSR tactical plans
  • Design business and tactical planning process, including defining timelines
  • Create tools to help guide PSRs in completion of tactical planning worksheets
  • Provide regular training workshops to deploy templates and toolkits
  • Support sales force to complete individual tactical plans for assigned franchise(s)
  • Assist managers in consolidating individual PSR tactical plans for territory/regional reviews
  • Define metrics and methodology to track sales force effectiveness

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelors degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience preferred.
  • Strong Finance background, consulting background preferred.
  • Prior experience in healthcare industry (pharmaceuticals/devices) preferred.
  • Prior sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in analytics, planning, forecasting, sales force sizing, and/or operational management context
  • Demonstrated ability to drive insight generation through data and analysis.
  • Track record of success driving operational improvements, particularly in cross-functional contexts
