Our client is a fortune 500 company with a regional HQ in Shanghai and proven double digit growth in Asia, they are in a very strong position to move forward in the Greater China market.

Job Description
A role has become available for a Tax professional to be based in Shanghai with a large geographical remit. You will initially take charge of all tax affairs for the business in China in the areas of Tax Planning and Compliance. Once established in the operational parts of the role, you will then be pivotal in driving projects throughout the Greater China region.

The Successful Applicant

The successful applicant will ideally have spent several years in industry after starting their career in Big 4. They will have a good mixture of technical ability and commercial acumen to help the business in both Compliance and Planning.

Interpersonally you will be strong enough to "get things done and in order" but also negotiate both externally and with non financial stakeholders internally. Most importantly, you will understand the necessary balance that needs to be reached.
