My client is a global provider of life insurance, annuities, employee benefits, and asset management. Founded in 1868, my client is serving approximately 100 million customers.
This role has full P&L responsibility, annual budgeting and marketing plans for Digital/e-commerce, takes management responsibility for leadership, communication and control of all Digital/e-commerce business activities.
The role will define China's direct digital strategy and vision and align it with the overall business direction. The incumbent will identify digital direct business potentials to uplift online channel capabilities and sales momentum and develop innovative online sales, service means and touch points to magnify the channel's capabilities.
In addition, he/she will drive and implement e-Marketing activities to support programs to enhance services and sales delivery capabilities, profitability through using platforms such as e-Toolkit and reduced delivery cost, all the while improving the overall Digital Direct online proposition and experience to 's consumers.
In pursuing Digital Direct opportunities, the holder of this position has a critical role in using their knowledge and experience of best practice solutions for Digital Direct to challenge normal working boundaries, promote ideas and implement solutions to further leverage Business, Marketing and IT alignment, and maximize the consumers' positive experience of . She/he will have a demonstrated understanding of "behavior graphics" and combining both online and offline behaviors into one whole customer view. Provide a rich online experience for the consumer and a destination where consumer can become immersed in the brand.
This role will Lead optimization and further development of all online sales and online engagement channels including as own website and marketplaces with Content, SEO, User Experience, Design etc. Execute on paid acquisition activities including paid search, retargeting, social media ads, email marketing, 3rd party list partnerships, and other advertising channels. Track and measure all digital marketing channels and campaigns; understand and develop campaign optimization strategies; monitor and report on campaign effectiveness in close partnership with the Analytics Manager. Train the team on best practices, testing plans, as well as on how to best manage partners and agencies where any so as to achieve maximum campaign effectiveness. Manage and collaborate with peers in country and region to build and execute integrated, measurable acquisition programs.
1. Proven track record of running digital/e-commerce business in insurance/financial industry.
2. Demonstrated success in developing, managing and creating buy-in with Digital strategies and initiatives.
3. Strong business acumen and digital marketing sense.
4. Demonstrated ability to develop and manage cross-functional programs and deliver online revenue growth.
5. Good communications skills within areas of direct responsibility, as well as across intra-company departments
