Lead the administration and technical team to provide effective and efficient shared facility services.
Lead decision-making forum as and when required to provide services in accordance with governance model. Work with occupants to agree and adjust governance model as required.
Work with business functions and local leaders/occupants to achieve win-win solutions

Ensure the team embraces compliance in daily services and contact with external parties.
Administration and Facility Operations - 70%
Manage the Shanghai facility and admin function and team.
Manage all aspects of facility operations (reception, replenishment of consumables, elevators, mechanical and HVAC, plants/cleaning, coordinate maintenance and repairs, canteen, shuttle bus, company cars, site security, CCTV, badges, etc.) in an efficient and economical manner. Laboratory facilities may be excluded from scope.
Cross-functional collaboration - Work with building occupants and functions (I.e.: EH&S, procurement, legal, HR, leadership, etc.) both locally and globally.
Lead or support facility or administrative projects and enhancements (i.e. expansion, renovation improvement, or moving projects)
Responsible to manage costs within budget. Share financial data to occupant leaders as agreed.
Support management of facility contracts and renewals, including vendor negotiations if required. Supervise and/or evaluate vendors ensuring delivery of qualified service.
Ensure processes and policy are created and maintained within the scope of the governance model.
Enforce processes, policies & standards.
Ensure facility safety and security.
Collaborate with EHS teams to support EHS activities related to the site. Solicit EHS technical advice as and when required.
Own and proactively work to resolve site EHS concerns or findings.
Team development, goal setting, resource and work/task assignment.
Support remote administrators in coordinating remote site activities and aligning process where it makes sense.
Organize public activities (meetings/town halls) and events.
