The jobholder works with IT Development/ IT Operations project teams to draw up project plan, which includes defining scope and allocating resources. He/she coordinates with different parties to execute the project plan, and to monitor progress and resolve any project issues with the participants along the way. This is an Individual Contributor job that offers specialized expertise to the project team in project management.

*Collaborates with business community to ensure process and people improvements are addressed.
*Prepares project deliverables including (but not limited to) process flows, business requirements, statements of work and functional design specifications.
*Designs "user ready" applications which are easy to use and have user help. Collaborates with business to ensure business change management, user training and user support are planned and implemented.
*Identifies and evaluates solution options from a functional perspective through gap analysis, prototyping, evaluating customization, etc.
*For small projects, manages the project to successful implementation. Clarifies and communicates commitments and progress to plan. Effectively manages tasks, resources, deliverables, budget, change, risk and issues. Coordinates, communicates, guides and leads project team on a daily basis to ensure members are able to carry out their work timely and adequately.
*Ensures solutions are designed to be cost effective and sustainable. Works closely with manufacturing management team to set objectives for user adoption and designs solutions and deployments accordingly. Considers ongoing operations of deployed solutions. Ensures effective application support and maintenance.
*Works closely with IT Technical Managers, IT Project Manager and IT Service Managers to identify application support requirements and ensure smooth transition of development projects to support organization.

The candidate we are looking for will be involved in a project called Simcorp implementation. This project is to implement a new back office system for Asset Management HK business. The application is a vendor package developed by Simcorp, now the project has completed the phase 2 and rolling out the phase 3. The candidate will pick up the BA / PM responsibility in this project.

The SCM Applications Business Analyst role is responsible for creating and maintaining a strategic partnership between Company business / operations teams and the Enterprise Applications organization throughout the delivery of systems, technology and process improvement initiatives. The individual in this role works closely with cross-functional subject matter experts (SMEs) in the definition, technical issue resolution, training, implementation and support of processes, systems and applications developed or implemented to address Company's business and operational needs. This position is involved in SCM solution implementation and/or ongoing support on JDA system.
Makes decisions during production support and resolve issues. Coordinates with user community to determine requirements and with other IT community to fetch or provide relevant functionality/Data. Ensures that SCM improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to improve efficiency.
