About Our Client
My client is a US based, world-leading independent product safety certification organization. For last 100 years, my client has develops standards and test procedures for products, materials, components, assemblies, tools and equipment, chiefly dealing with product safety. And also they evaluates and certifies the efficiency of a company’s business processes through its management system registration programs. During the business expanding purpose, my client currently establishing a new Asian division, they seeking Energy Experts, that from different fields to join their new team.

Job Description

The main responsibility of this role is serving as the company’s technical expert in China in the wind energy sector by supporting the development and delivery of technical services to enable my client to realize its goal as a growth company. This means in detail:

• Drives consistency, integrity and engineering quality (1) in the establishment and application of functional safety requirements that are applied by staff located in China and (2) at company sites around the world as applicable related to Chinese certification.
• Assists and supports Commercial Operations in new business opportunities.
• Drafts, implements and maintains consistent and technically appropriate certification programs and requirements.
• Develops world-class staff through proactive development of technical training programs to ensure appropriate and consistent application of requirements.
• Serves as the technical project handler of qualified new or innovative products.
• Develops requirements to address new technical developments or product features through collaboration with colleagues.
• Utilizes external resources to actively manage impact of regulations, codes and standards on requirements and certification programs.
• Works with the responsible engineering staff to determine any necessary equipment and skills needed to fulfill evaluations, including those resulting from changes to standards.

The Successful Applicant

· Electrical Engineering degree with specific knowledge in power electronics, power quality, mechanics, and systems reliability preferred; also possible is an university degree in a related engineering field, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or Physics or related field plus directly related experience.

·Working knowledge of appropriate installation codes, standards or guidelines as well as basic safety principles, Hazard Based Safety Engineering and involved conformity standards.

·?Demonstrated ability to apply engineering concepts in areas of expertise, including application to complex, new or innovative products.

·Working knowledge of involved industry issues, needs and problems.

·Basic understanding of the principles of Lean Sigma preferred

·?Effective communicator; high level of competence in communication and presentation; fluent in Chinese and English.
