About Our Client
Our client is a listed HK group with significant property interests across China. The group holds large scale retail assets as well as manages an internationally invested fund, with a focus on the development of high end shopping malls.

Job Description
Reporting directly to the Managing Director of the parent group you will provide leadership across the entire quantity surveying and project management functions. You will actively manage existing property assets as well as oversee the construction of several shopping malls across China, taking responsibility for contract negotiations, tendering, project execution and cost control. You will also work as a key member of a project team focusing on the re-development of an iconic Beijing landmark.

The Successful Applicant

To succeed at this role you will possess:

• Significant experience as a project manager and/or quantity surveyor in China.
• Ideally, have exposure to the retail market, either as developer or asset manager.
• Have experience of full life-cycle development from design through to occupation and active asset management.
• Have the necessary commercial acumen required to succeed in a rapid growth and diverse environment.
• Have the passion, energy and commitment to work on a 5 year development strategy.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin
