About Our Client
Our client is a well established US multinational within the home appliance sector. This rapidly expanding business now seeks a commercially astute test professional to join the China team.

Job Description
Reporting to the Global Vice President of Quality, you will lead the testing function in the development and implementation of test protocols. You will collaborate with new and existing vendors to ensure best practice is adopted for development, qualification and manufacturing testing. As a key technical resource for the group, you will also seek to continually improve test protocols to maintain best in class products. Utilizing superior analytical skills you will interpret test data and provide recommendations to both vendors and internal engineering teams to prevent quality failures and product returns. In essence your role will be critical to the company maximizing the quality of all products.

The Successful Applicant
To qualify, you will possess at least 15 years experience within quality and testing senior management roles, preferably within a multinational home appliance environment. Your knowledge of international standards will include UL and ASTM and will be complimented by the ability to perform detailed FMEA and design reviews. Moreover, it is essential you can convince suppliers of the benefits of change and recommend improvements to internal processes. Strong communication and influencing skills will allow you to operate at the highest levels both internally and externally with global counterparts. Native level English coupled with Asian operating experience is essential.
