Job Description

The role carries a high level of responsibility for managing employed sale force, implementing agreed business strategy, applying professional judgment and ensuring compliance with the Company’s policies and standards. This position has responsibility for achieving both targets and growth in revenues and meeting budgeted profit levels. Keys roles such as:

- Responsible for managing the sales force and implementing training and other initiatives to ensure they are qualified to sell the range of services, and moral is maintained at a high level

- Following company procedures for hiring personnel, hire, train and evaluate sales personnel in line with the sales and marketing goals identified in the company strategic plan.

- Ensure good relationships maintained and exploit potential with existing customers for more and expanded areas of business and promote the company within salesperson’s defined region.

- Responsible for developing strategic plans in line with the Company’s strategic objectives and implementing these with the in-house sales team

- Building customer and industry contacts to ensure our market intelligence is current and comprehensive

- Managing the day-to-day costs of the business

- Working and coordinate with the company operations personnel and managing the sales force to ensure gross margin meets or exceeds budget

- Achievement of agreed financial targets Responsible to work with the finance department to ensure deadlines are met and the Company is in full financial compliance

The Successful Applicant

- A recognized qualification in mechanical engineering or a business qualification supported by at least ten years of related industry experience

- Knowledge of the Industrial service sector, and how a U.S. based company operates.

- Sales promotion and contract negotiation skills

- Knowledge of QA procedures related to the sales function

- Exceptional organizational, management and leadership skills

- Strong and resilient temperament

- Persistence and ability to achieve results

- Good organizational ability Ability to think strategically.

- Familiarity of costing projects.
