About Our Client
Belvedere Group is the world’s 7th largest drinks company with an extensive presence across Europe, Asia and the USA. Building on an existing export business in Greater China, Belvedere is launching their China-based operations, focusing on their extensive portfolio of international brands including Sobieski, Gautier, Marie Brizard and an extensive range of French wines. All marketing activity related to Sobieski will be supported by their global ambassador, Hollywood superstar, Bruce Willis.

Job Description
This position will be tasked with running the marketing department of this global drinks company and will lead the 2 brand managers in the full portfolio management of Baijiu, Spirits and Wines. The role will involve above and below the line activity to create a fully integrated approach to the brand building and development. Based from the head office in Shanghai, this marketing department supports 4 regions across China that focus on brand penetration of all brands across all channels. The role will be incredibly varied with a responsibility to help establish the office as well as lead the development of the team while taking both international and local Baijiu brands to the market.

The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will be a Chinese National with at least 8 years consumer and trade marketing experience in the alcoholic drinks industry. Experience in Baijiu in China is strongly preferred as is previous responsibility for team management. Given the scope of the role the ideal candidate will have the ability to work in a small business but responsible for global brands in a local market environment. Crucial to the success of this role will be a fast paced approach; be highly organized with exceptional communication skills in both Chinese and English and a desire to be part of a new business backed by a truly international organization.
