About Our Client
Our client is a UK company that has been established for over 20 years and is a leader in its field. They manufacture specialist industrial equipment for the Oil and Gas industry and have recently established an APAC office in China.

Job Description

Reporting to the Global Sales Director you will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Providing support for existing distribution network and further development of other channels to market
  • Business development strategy
  • Quality assurance of all products under outsourced manufacturers and distributed within China
  • Ag reeding service levels (lead times) and Supply Chain issues related to the China distribution networks
  • Continuing product development/enhancement to ensure competitive market positioning
  • Cost control and local negotiation across supply chain and customer contracts.
  • P&L and administration of the China office.

The Successful Applicant
You must be degree qualified and posses more than 10 years experience in a Technical Sales and Business Development role. Experience of working within the China market is essential as is capital/Industrial equipment sales in the Oil/PetroChem Industrial . You must demonstrate a strong track record of building a business in China and of growing sales. A strong technical background in manufacturing is highly preferred. You must have strong communications and fluency in English and Mandarin is absolutely essential.
