Our client is a leading European MNC manufacturer of mechanical and braking systems to the Automotive sectors.
Job Description
The GM position is being recruited in order drive the Aftermarket OEM products business in China from a commercial and operational perspective and ensure that the company meets its future business goals and objectives. As China is one of the key manufacturing base and future market for the Aftermarket BU products so this is a superb opportunity for the right person to join a growing and expansive company at a time to help shape the future strategy and support this growth. The main challenge for this role is driving the sales volume in China and at the same time managing the Manufacturing operations to deliver the required capacity to support this growth and compete with the establish local manufacturers.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate profile would be someone who has extensive China focused Sales experience within an automotive aftermarket manufacturing organisation ideally. Furthermore, they should have a technical manufacturing background (Production related) as well to oversee production operations. Someone who has a natural credibility within the industry who can quickly establish themselves as a well networked, commercially aware and customer focused Leader. The ideal person should also have strong communication skills (bi-lingual) absolutely trust worthy and of the highest integrity and also the drive and passion to be a strong thought leader and senior level representative for them in China. An exceptional and strong Sales senior manager without GM experience may also be considered.
