About Our Client
Our client is a worldwide name in the developing, manufacturing and marketing of medical devices. With manufacturing and sales operations across the globe, the company has an multi billion sales turnover each year. The company takes pride in providing a broad and deep portfolio of innovative products, technologies and services across a wide range of medical specialties. They are currently looking for a Finance Manager based in Shanghai to oversee their finance and accounting function.

Job Description
The position will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and will oversee a sizable team. You will be responsible for the full scope of finance and accounting function including general accounting, taxation, internal controls, treasury, asset management to support and maintain the China business strong market position. In addition, you will be responsible for providing financial intelligence on Quality related issues, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations including GAAP and SOX.

The Successful Applicant

• University degree in Accounting or equivalent
• CPA/ACCA/CA qualified
• Big4 trained highly preferred
• Similar corporate experience at top multinationals, minimum 3-5 years at management level
• The ability to demonstrate strong financial and analytical skills at all levels of reporting
• Proven team leadership, coaching and development skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels displaying tact and diplomacy as required
• Excellent English and Mandarin to deal with local reporting line and overseas parent company
