Job Description

This role focuses on the Guest Marketing efforts as part of the Distribution and Relationship Marketing (DRM) team to shape and drive the performance of the IHG Distribution Channels and IHG’s loyalty program, Priority Club Rewards across the Greater China region. This position assumes responsibility for customer management strategies leveraging a newly developed enterprise customer database and personalized PCR approach fit for Chinese customers. Develop and execute business plans to achieve budgeted targets for hotels by region / sub-region and product/promotion implementation goals (e.g. PCR Enrollment goals; hotel email capture goals). Key points of focus:

- Brand integration

- Revenue growth

- DRM product integration

- Regional Stakeholder MGT

- Team MGT/ development

The Successful Applicant

10 + years progressive work related experience with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/technologies/processes and in multiple geographies related to the position including distribution channel management, loyalty programs, training and reporting / analytics. Travel and/or Hotel Industry experience preferred.

- Knowledge of loyalty programs and distribution marketing, including direct distribution (call center and Internet) and agency/third party distribution models and product marketing expertise including new product marketing and activation marketing

- Strong strategic skills to form a vision for where to take the business and to develop a business plan, budget and org structure to achieve the vision.

- Understanding of Hotel Industry, particularly the reservations, loyalty program, and guest relations processes and life cycle and basic revenue management principles

- Multi-lingual experience is preferred especially for EMEA and Asia Pacific with local language experience.

- Superior oral and written communications skills including presentation skills, public speaking ability, and group decision facilitation

- Ability to influence internal customers and business leaders and effectively establish strong working relationships that produce solid results.
