About Our Client
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is a UK based charity with a presence in 18 other major business centers around the world. CDP works with 475 institutional investors, holding 55 trillion USD in assets under management and 60 corporations to disclose carbon emissions of major global organizations. 2,500 organizations in 60 countries around the world now measure and disclose emissions and climate change strategies through CDP.

Job Description
This position will be in charge of founding CDP in China and formulating a coherent and effective funding and development strategy. You will leverage existing relationships to identify new partnerships in the region with government agencies, data providers, accounting bodies, investors and academic institutions. You will also increase the number of corporate signatories to improve the quality of data collected while significantly raising exposure and knowledge of carbon accounting in the corporate environment. You will work with high level partners, influential speakers and global champions of CDP initiatives

The Successful Applicant
You will have at least 10 years experience in investor relations, public service or academia and most importantly an understanding of global climate change, the relevant international and Chinese policies and how these will impact global business and investment in the future. Candidates must have the passion and professional aptitude to take on this project and be fluent in both English and Mandarin. You must demonstrate strong leadership, public speaking and organizational skills while an established regional corporate or government network is essential.
