Job Description

Reporting to the General Manager and dotted line report to the US, you will be responsible for all finance related issues in their start up business.

Having supporting from the international team, you will need to manage local compliance issues including dealing with government authorities and internal global policies.

You will manage the financial budgets and prepare cash flow forecasts in accordance to business needs.

Whilst providing general support, advice and insight on local business practices, you will support the General Manager and take on a proactive approach to grow the business and steer it in the right director. Also you will need to provide commercial support and leadership for the team members as requested and you may need to identifying appropriate solutions to issues encountered.

Other ad hoc projects as requested by management including assistance with opening of retail shops may be necessary.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have

- Minimum 8 years plus 3 years work experience within a US MNC. US experience will also be highly regarded

- CPA/ACCA equivalent qualifications

- Solid and detailed knowledge of the retail industry is highly regarded and in depth knowledge of China business laws, customs and practices is a must.

-US GAAP and PRC GAAP reporting is necessary

- Sound Commercial judgment and independent attitude to work in a stand alone and hands on environment

- Start up and developing a business will be highly regarded.

- Fluency in both Mandarin and English is a must
