About Our Client
Our client is the property division of a global retail giant with a newly establish development and strategic investment business in China. Headquartered in Beijing they are growing aggressively in the China market and across Asia Pacific.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Property Service Director of the group you will provide leadership across the entire quantity surveying and project management functions. You will:

• Lead a construction team to plan for and construct new shopping malls, visit project site under construction or recently completed;
• Work closely with property service director updating on status and coach the team;
• Be fully in charge of quality control, budget control, time control and the whole project working process;
• Deliver construction key performance indicators whilst balancing quality and best value;
• Liaise with Property Acquisitions on upstream projects.

The Successful Applicant

To be successful you must have:

• Minimum 8 years working experience in property industry, of which minimum of 3 to 5 years working in similar capacity as a Construction Manage for real estate developer; Ideally RICS/CIOB qualified;
• Extensive and proven track record in management position in construction, managing multi site retail development;
• Significant experience of managing construction of a number of projects and delivering on time and within budget;
• Good knowledge of architectural, structural design;
• Fluent in both English and Chinese;
• Excellent communication skills and a good team leader/player.
