Job Description

  • Negotiates in the area of Capital Equipment and MRO indirect materials, by applying the appropriate strategies and procurement tools for Global and Corporate demand requirements
  • Identifies business requirements and develops market/industry assessments to prioritize opportunities
  • Quantifies potential benefits, that will result from sourcing and negotiations of Capital Equipment and MRO indirect materials
  • Develops sourcing and negotiation strategies consistent with business requirements and market trends to minimize total cost of ownership
  • Analyzes results from market research ,potential demand aggregation, and alternative buying strategies in the area of Capital Equipment and MRO indirect materials, to exercise maximum influence upon suppliers
  • Implements the appropriate leverage to the negotiation opportunities where current price reduction or cost avoidance is achievable
  • Effective cooperation in conjunction with the Purchasing Areas, Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance and other Corporate Functions to facilitate the implementation of negotiated agreements
  • Managing supplier relationships in accordance with formal performance metrics

The Successful Applicant
To be successful, you need to have a Bachelor degree with Reputable University majored in Business Administrator, International Trade or Science. Exposure to Capital Equipment and MRO sourcing is a must. You need to have at least 4 years working experience with a global sourcing center, strong business acumen. Sensitive to figures and market trend, able to recommend relative strategies to global counterparts. Excellent English communication skill is highly required.
