Job Description

The BPR / Business System Manager will have a strong focus on China market and will also have coverage for other Asia Pacific countries including Japan. Main focus will be on communicating and sharing the enterprise IT strategy to the business stakeholders in greater Asia region (China, Japan), delivering IT initiatives and establish a disciplined approach for implementing a common vision for cross-functional, interrelated projects.

BPR / Business System Manager will not only play a role as a business application analyst and project manager, but also the process reengineering specialist and business trainer.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Create a positive relationship with business leaders specifically in China and Japan region based on integrity, respect and trust
• Understand, analyze and implement improvement strategies on operation flow from IT point of view
• Implement business applications practically to best fit the organization
• Communicate and negotiate with the systems and business applications specialists across the Asia region
• Define business requirements in the system context, and assure quality of business applications

The Successful Applicant

• Absolute fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin preferable) is required to be successful in this position.
• Some proficiency in Japanese language would be a big plus but not required.
• Broad experience on BPR / business processes improvement on IT operations and their interrelationships covering Finance, Demand, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of IT covering ERP Business Applications (especially on Finance, Sales & Marketing, Logistics, etc systems)
• Experience in business analysis and business process management / improvement to solve business problems and enablement of business opportunities
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma concepts considered a plus
• Experience in managing programmes and multiple projects, and being able to drive changes within the organization.
