Roles and Responsibilities
*Development and maintenance of Thunderhead templates in Mandarin, English and French to enable the automation of trade confirmations for Global Sites.
*Work closely with the business in London, Hong Kong and other centres on a day to day basis to establish requirements for template development, building the logic within Thunderhead, validating the test results and handing over to the release team.
*Enforce release management standards in promoting developed templates to the production environment in a timely and controlled manner.
*Work closely with the Business and other IT teams globally to deliver the best solution.
*Look for opportunities to improve processes and the way that they are supported through liaison with both the business and IT teams
-Provide a central point of contact for all Thunderhead business users for day-to-day "how to" functional support & project support
-Provide a central point of contact for all Thunderhead Dev/UAT Environment issues
-Representative to attend any Thunderhead related meetings, projects, working groups or forums both internal and external
-Clean-up and House-Keeping such as deleting old templates, sample data etc. in development & test environments
-Working with business partners, pro-actively seek opportunities to extend the use of the service to maximize cost & operational benefits (e.g. investigate cost-benefit analysis of on boarding fixing advices, settlement notices, master agreements etc.)
-Provide historic knowledge of how Thunderhead has been implemented and used within HSBC and the differences between asset classes

Ideal Experience (following skills/experiences would be an added advantage)
*Exposure to Thunderhead and knowledge of XML
*Understanding of Foreign Exchange and Money Market products and life cycle
*An understanding of the roles of Front Office, Operations, Product control and Risk management in a trading operation.
*Working in a global team with different cultures
*Knowledge of French
