About Our Client
My client is a world leading furniture brand based in UK and currently have an exciting opportunity for a Supplier Quality Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Supplier Quality Manager is responsible for the Quality Assurance of Purchased Parts and reporting to Senior Quality Manager. Key account abilities:
* managing a team of PQT and PQI;
* Series process and product approval.
* Closed-loop problem resolution of parts quality issues with suppliers.
* Management of supplier quality performance and implementation of corrective actions.
* Managing the products quality implications of product changes, supplier re-locations and model run-out.
* Proactive & reactive Supplier Development activities, impacting on supplier process yield, continuity of supply and product quality.
The Successful Applicant
*Proven track record in Supplier Quality Assurance and/or Supplier Development within Furniture Manufacturing Industry
* Knowledge of furniture technology and product development.
* Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
* Operational knowledge of quality systems, quality tools & techniques.
* Exceptional team-leading.
* The ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels.
* A good Engineering degree or equivalent.
