About Our Client
Our client is in a fast-growing category of connected health and fitness products, an exciting business that combines cutting-edge tracking devices with motivating online and mobile experiences to help people reach their health & fitness goals.
You will work with suppliers in setting up process controls, data collection, failure analysis, corrective action and reporting, and provide direction and training to suppliers developing quality programs. You will evaluate suppliers processes and process controls and interface with them in resolving complex manufacturing process, quality and reliability issues, utilizing DOE and statistical methods. You will publish reports on supplier performance and evaluate prospective suppliers about production capability & quality processes. And you work with cross-functional teams developing new products ensuring completeness of specifications & product performance requirements. You need to ensure spec alignment between sub-suppliers and final assembly OEM and create and Approve limit samples per product's defined CMF. And you will develop robust processes for failure analysis on customer returns in order to Synthesize Voice of Customer into both process changes and product development cycles to impact current and future products
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, you should have 10-15 years working experience. Certified Quality Black/Green Belt, Quality Engineer/Manager or Reliability Engineer. You should have experience in high volume consumer electronics manufacturing, assembly, inspection and test process development. You should have experience with supplier development and auditing, injection molding, metal forming and finishing processes, PCBA and Interconnect technology. And you should have experience leading Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and developing and implementing Design of Experiments (DOE). Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin is required. Korean is a plus.
