Work closely with sales team to develop sales opportunities with new customers, strategic partners in new markets.
Support sales by interfacing with existing and prospective customers to determine their technical requirements and to discuss and develop complex technical solutions.
Prepare and deliver detailed product demonstrations and technical Presentations to prospect customers and partners for various market segments.
Support sales activities on a technical level at exhibitions and conferences. This includes assisting with planning and the setup and Presenting of demonstrations.
Respond on time and accurately to customer questions
The writing of White Papers on complex solutions and the Presentation of papers at Events/Conferences to support sales
Provide feedback from customers to tech team on new product feature requirements.
Support the bid review process and act as a bid manager for technically complex sales opportunities
Take ownership and act as the interface between customer and Salmon functional departments to resolve complex technical sales issues.
Work according to Salmon quality processes and guidelines as applicable.
The Successful Applicant
Qualification and Experience:
Technical aptitude to quickly develop and maintain a good knowledge of Salmon's solution offerings, technologies, methodologies and procedures and keep up to date with the market and related developments
Good Presentation skills, good written and oral English preferred
Strong business orientation, analysis/problem solving, negotiation and collaboration skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Able to develop and maintain professional internal and external relationships
Recent proposal / bid management experience in an international high-pressure technical and commercial environment.
Knowledge and experience in ecommerce markets is an advantage.
Frequent travel required.
