The Senior USA Manager will act as an representative and sales leader increasing recruitment into programmes and partners in the USA.
The Senior USA Manager will report to Deputy Recruitment Director (China).
Based in China, the applicant will be expected to travel extensively across China and also to the USA and elsewhere as requested by their line management.
The following tasks provide a general overview of the types of activity the successful applicants will be expected to engage in on a day to day basis. The tasks are not intended to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities as the nature of our business requires all employees to be flexible, dynamic and to have the capacity to think creatively when presented with challenges.
*Assist Regional Managers in develop an annual USA focused regional sales and marketing plans to achieve set recruitment targets from the China, Hong Kong & Macau.
*Support the work of other regional offices and our overseas partners.
*Manage and grow business relationships with agencies and other suppliers of students within recruitment territory.
*Provide on-going training and counseling to all relevant agents and other stakeholders including timely distribution of promotional materials and the translation and distribution of news items to all relevant stakeholders.
*Promote the brand at feeder institutions, exhibitions, seminars and other events.
*Handle all relevant inquiries and correspondence and submit monthly marketing accounts to appropriate staff
*Analyse, recommend and present opportunities of academic collaboration, marketing and advertising within the recruitment area.
*Promote, contribute to and model a positive view and high-performing customer service culture.
*Ensure all work complies with legal and standards.
*Undertake other duties as directed by line management.
*This position involves significant domestic travel within the defined region.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements and Essential Criteria
*Driven, passionate,results-orientated and focused nature
*Sound understanding of International education systems and cultures especially for USA education. Prefer US citizens or candidates who studies in US universities or very similar with the US education systems.
*Sales and Business Development background in Education industry preferable from language training institution, international study service agencies.
*Strong communication skills and Customer-service orientated approach
*Comfortable in dynamic environments
*Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets
*Capability to travel and work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
*Fluency in English language, fluent in Mandarin will be preferable
