Senior Supply Chain Manager - A Fast-Growing Medical Device MNC

About Our Client
Our client is a foreign middle-sized company producing medical consumable materials. It's now fast expanding in China market and urgently need an experienced supply chain manager coming from Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industry.
Monthly meetings with Sales and marketing to align inventory management/Sales demand models with marketing activities
Interaction with Sales/Marketing and 3PL to ensure smooth operations in delivery of samples/point of sale/promotional items/promoted products
Responsible for the strategic and operational planning of Logistic operation
Develop a full understanding of the current ERP forecasting system and interface with the appropriate plants to ensure that shipment of the products are coordinated.
Ensure that demand planning and forecasted level inventory, of all products, are maintained at predefined policy levels.
Assist with supply chain projects and initiatives as required. Track project deliverables utilizing appropriate tools. Implement and manage project changes to achieve project outputs.
Coordinate with overseas plants to manage import and custom activities in order to meet service level expectations.
Work with suppliers/vendors to identify and eliminate logistics obstacles to ensure safe and timely shipping of products.
Develop standard operating procedures for efficiently carrying out logistics activities.
Develop procedures for coordination of supply chain management with other functional areas, such as quality assurance, regulatory, and finance.
Create and maintain detailed reporting (e.g. Financial and Logistic KPIs) on all import activities including order management, logistics and shipping.
Selects and hires employees. Trains and evaluates employees to enhance their performance, development, and work product. Addresses performance issues and makes recommendations for personnel actions.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Pharmacy, or a related discipline
6+ years of working experience and minimum 3-5 years of supply chain experience within the pharmaceutical industry
Supply chain management - sales demand/inventory forecasting
Commercial acumen with good experience in handling customs and importation issues
Strong relationship management and communication skills
Pharmaceutical production and/or demand and supply planning experience with hands on S&OP experience
Good technical and business writing skills in English
Demonstrated team orientation, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational and systems-related skills.
