Develops the sales strategy to increase market share of assigned products or market through communications with end users such as Power Stations, Project Owners, Design Institute, Consultants and Engineering firms, Contractors and other commercial/industrial companies, including distributors or representatives.
Write and present reports in English to report back to the management team in aid of devising new approaches
Establishes and maintains strong relationships with key purchasing influences in the industry
Keeps company management informed of business conditions, which may affect assigned product or markets
Participate in marketing activities such as trade shows, equipment seminars and training activities
Effectively use the companies CRM system in order to tracks status of projects/activities.
Maintains close contact with client's key person(s) throughout the project development stage, proposal stage, the final selection process and during the closing of the order
Procures all necessary documents in order to allow company to review a project and submit bids
Requests and or guide the company to complete bid forms, bond requests, contract checklists, etc. including expediting appropriate corporate signatures.
Provides technical and commercial direction for proposals.
Assists in the development of written materials, proposals and price quotations
Attends pre-bid and site meetings whenever necessary
Directly be involved and held responsible for securing orders in accordance to company's guidelines
Performs follow-up with clients to ensure that performance of the product and company is satisfactory
Assists in evaluation of lost projects in order to increase contract wins
Understands and adheres to all company health and safety procedures as they relate to essential job
Makes sales presentations to potential clients, consultants, EPC's and general contractors.
Pro-actively calls assigned customers to maintain communication within a framework of established sales objectives. The product or service is technically complex requiring specialised application knowledge and custom pricing.
The Successful Applicant
*Must have experience in selling complete solutions/systems
*University degree and 10-15 years' experience in Sales activity for Power Plant (Nuclear preferred) industries.
*Deep knowledge of the Power Plant industry with established network/track record to China key Customers and Project Owners for the Nuclear and Conventional Plants
*Effective written and verbal communication skills in English and the local language.
*Proved track record of successful sales experience in the Power Plant market sectors being directly participating to negotiation of Projects in the China Public and Private sectors
*Must be able to work with minimal direct supervision
*Must be self-sufficient as very little or no administrative assistance is offered
