Senior Merchandising Manager

About Our Client
Our client is a famous fashion accessory brand, they have over 100 stores in China and still expand quickly now.
*Partner with merchandising planning function to develop annual business plan.
*Align with product directions from global and PAP and identify key growth drivers for China market.
Merchandising Planning and execution
*Lead competitive analysis, trend forecast, pricing structure, and consumer insights to influence the global product assortment to build the right product mix.
*Oversee Merchandising cycle from range building, forecasting, pricing, buying, sell-in and reordering, distribution, inventory management and sell-through monitoring for O&O retail and wholesale channel.
Merchandising Report & Process
*Optimize merchandising process that enhance brand value to the business and end consumers.
*Implement reports to monitor key business performance indicator. Aligned with merchandising planning function to identify category target achievement.
*Monitor sales performance, inventory level, campaign result, make call outs and actions plans.
GTM & execution
*Partner with cross-function team, including marketing, retail development etc. to align and execute GTM plan to ensure integrated path towards customers.
*Initiate and execute local relevant events and promotions.
Team Development & Management
*Inspire, coach, and motivate the team in developing a skilled, competent, market focused, and service oriented team
*Lead and guide the team with goal setting and development planning
*Collaborate with cross functional teams or partners to ensure integration of business and merchandising plan to achieve company's targets or other relevant strategic goals
The Successful Applicant
*University degree holder in merchandising, business, fashion or related disciplines
*At least 10 years of relevant experience in merchandising or buying, of which minimum 3 years in a managerial capacity
*Strong experience in product management / assortment for fashion is an absolute advantage
*Sound business acumen, fashion and market sense
*Detailed mind with very strong analytical skills
*Advanced excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
*Strong negotiation, organization and influential skills
*Excellent command in spoken and written English & Chinese
*Organized, self-starter and able to multi-task & work under pressure
*Proactive team player with strong communication skills
*Good team management skill
