About Our Client
Leading MNC with diversity Business unions running in China
1.Work with the General Manager to develop and implement successful HR strategy to recruit and retain well-qualified personnel, including Managerial, Professional, Technical, Administrative, and Plant Workers to meet business requirements. Ensure ongoing process to identify high quality candidates in a timely manner, and the identification and resolution of issues that might cause high turnover.
2.Plan, organize and administer activities associated with personnel intake, orientation, and training, and record creation and management, including the development and implementation of policies and procedures, in accordance with the Company's requirements and the PRC employment laws. Ensure clear and ongoing communication with both the General Manager and Department Managers concerning policies, records, and compliance requirements.
3.Work with the General Manager and as part of the Leadership Team, create and implement employee career development and employee management and team building initiatives. Coach and develop the HR team to meet the company's requirement. Gain knowledge of the company's development processes, and implement as appropriate. Learn, follow and train the management team to act as the Leadership Competency Model required.
4.Create, maintain, and distribute reports and documents as required by the General Manager on a timely basis. Company reports may include safety performance reports, employee status and hours worked reports, compensation reports, etc.
5.To manage re-structuring issues with the GM including expansion, down-sizing or cost reduction initiatives, plant openings and closures and individual releases in accordance with local legislation.
6.Support M&A proposals made by the Region and SBUs and deliver the performance, integration and synergy commitments for the newly acquired businesses or any corporate development initiative.
7.To support the company's vision, values and corporate policies.
8.To ensure sound compensation and benefits practices that are competitive in the industry and oversee the annual salary review and annual bonus administration processes in China. Also to provide leadership and direction on improvements or changes to local employee benefits.
9.Support Group and Regional HR initiatives as required from time to time consistent with the skills, experience and competency of the job-holder.
The Successful Applicant
*Bachelor's Degree holder. Post-Graduate qualifications in HR would be an advantage.
*Professional HR Affiliation (HR Institute of Management or equivalent) preferred.
*Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
*Good Facilitation and training skills
*Prior experience in handling integration would be a plus
*Excellent command of English/ Mandarin
*Demonstrate a combination of toughness, adaptability and resilience and with the energy and motivational commitment to drive through the demanding programme of change and growth for the next few years.
*Have excellent people management skills with the ability to lead and develop the HR team.
*Be comfortable operating in a management environment, which is open and honest, lean, informal, dynamic and challenging.
*Willing to travel on a regular basis within China.
*A good knowledge of IT systems is desirable
