About Our Client
Our client is a small international company, a world leading producer of painting, dyeing, finishing and printing machinery for textile industry, operating in more than 40 countries in Europe, Middle East, Americas and 9 offices in Asia Pacific region with more than €55 million in global turnover and over 220 employees.
The primary responsibilities of General Sales Manager will include:
*Develop and maintain short, medium and long term sales strategies for the region of responsibility.
*Develop new customers in textile industry with the regional growth plan.
*Empower the local sales team (5 people) to build and develop client relationships.
*Build and develop the sales team's ability with positioning, selling and closing.
*Develop, maintain and distribute key performance indicators for the team.
*Grow and manage a pipeline of potential clients through direct sales and distribution partners.
*Generate business, identify key customers and requirements, write proposals, lead commercial negotiations and coordinate implementation plans.
*Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects, decision makers and evaluating their position in the industry.
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate profile should include
*5-8 years in the field of textile machinery
*Ability to bring new business and build business network.
*Strategic thinking and team player skills.
*Strong managerial skills, ability to lead, motivate and hit the targets.
*Experience in client interactions, client presentation, price negotiations, solution presentation.
*Excellent verbal, written, listening English and presentation skills - direct report to European Business Head.
