About Our Client
Our client is one leading manufacturer of metal powders with 3,000 customers in 75 countries. Globally they develop tomorrow's automotive components, brazing products, electric motors and systems for sustainable energy production with around 700 granted patents. They understand that lowering costs is at the top of priority list. That is why they develop solutions that enable customers to squeeze overall costs in ways that others cannot.
*Drive sales and market approach in China market.
*Price management, review contracts and COACH price negotiations with customers.
*Assign, lead and manage sales work, ensure that employees have a sound work environment, access to necessary information, skills and tools.
*Apply continuous Performance Management.
*Produce AND implement annual strategic plan and budget for Chinese business.
*Grow business by develop existing customers as well as identify new customers and applications.
*Responsible to uphold customer profitability
*Organise and manage sales review forums and meetings
*Key accounts coordination
*Ensure CRAM (CRM) utilisation throughout sales organisation
*Quarterly updates on forecast, bonus e.g.
*Thorough understanding of Quality and Environmental Systems.
The Successful Applicant
*University degree in Material Science.
*10+ year sales experience preferably from the steel or automotive industry; Ability to build networks, build "GM relationship to engineering contacts"
*Profound understanding and experience of value based selling model; Proven track record of ability to manage a diverse business segment portfolio and drive mature as well as start up business
*Comfortable working hands on but also able to be analytical and Leadership style, being a coach rather than a manager; Team builder and team culture promoter
*Excellent spoken English
