About Our Client
Our client is a well-known global FMCG company with a range of personal care and healthcare products. As the company owns an extensive portfolio of healthcare and personal care products, they have been the primary supplier of chain supermarket, healthcare retail stores and general trade.
*Leading the full Sourcing process which includes development of scope, supplier selection, commercial negotiation, and contract execution, taking into account current strategy and the long-term impacts of such decisions
*Develop strategies, buying and sourcing tactics in alignment with category strategies and specific business objectives taking account of Sourcing data,
*Lead, plan and implement sourcing projects as project team leader managing team resources. Mentor for junior team members providing support for attainment of departmental objectives and goals.
*Delivers financial targets by developing annual savings plans utilising best practice spend reduction techniques, whilst ensuring continuity and robustness of the supply chain.
*Accountable for an agreed percentage of group wide P&L savings
*Project management of high value complex Sourcing activities
The Successful Applicant
*5-7 years experience managing multiple projects involving introduction of new enterprise technologies, procurement of new hardware and software acquisitions
*Strong commercial and legal acumen, ability to negotiate contracts and support the legal department
*Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment and to lead others in a directed effort to complete purchasing activities
*Proven ability to mentor others in the purchasing, internal relationship and partnership with selected suppliers
*Excellent communication skills (written &verbal) in both English and Mandarin
