About Our Client
Our client is an international manufacturer of office furniture with its operation sites around China. Now they are looking for a Production Manager to join their operation in Dongguan.
You will be responsible for production output and revenue according to production schedule. You need to ensure requirement related with quality, throughput time, efficiency, on-time delivery, cost, safety, etc., to reach target of company and customers. You will manage department related KPIs achievement and the reports, and manage the inventory and cost expenditure in manufacture process. And you need to establish and develop production management or operational procedures, handle and coordinate problems occurring in manufacture process. You will participate in improvement activities for capacity, quality, efficiency, cost reduction, etc. in manufacture process, and deploy basic floor management tools (6S, visual management) in workshop. And you will provide the necessary training/coach to develop competence of team members and operators, provide support and cooperation to other function in several projects/issues.
The Successful Applicant
College degree of Engineering background, you should have at least 8 years production management experience and familiar with the production process. Experience working in furniture related foreign company is a plus. You should be proficient in modern management concepts, production management-savvy planning, organizing, leading and controlling modules. And you should understand the general characteristics of furniture material, and know lean manufacturing, facility maintenance and project improvement. Good command of English communication skill is preferred.
