MARKET LEVEL PRICING/REVENUE STRATEGY
Direct the 5 C's (Customer, Competition, Conditions, Company, Channels) situational analysis to ensure the development and recommendation of the overall Revenue Management strategy for the market; prioritize the analysis efforts with Regional Marketing for each market in light of changing market dynamics; approve of the market research, revenue simulation models, pricing and profitability models; forward recommendations to Managing Director to gain approval when needed and ensure decisions are implemented timely in order to maximize revenue and profitability for the company by improving company's value proposition.
CUSTOMER LEVEL PRICING
Guide the development and approval of strategic pricing programs; review and approve large customer pricing proposals and exceptions to pricing guidelines (through the APAC target pricing process), and provide recommendations for extra section flights; evaluate revenue and profit performance of pricing programs, large customers, market segments and service types; and recommend changes or develop new programs in order to take advantage of short-term profit opportunities as well as long-term profitable growth in the various market segments.
NETWORK LEVEL/SYSTEM FORM PRICING
Develop, review and recommend network optimization pricing strategies and tactics that effectively utilize the APAC flight capacity; provide Revenue Management forecasting to assist in flight scheduling analysis; train team to on cost allocation assumptions and methodologies to fit the business situation at hand; measure and report results of the tactics, in order to maximize asset utilization and profitability.
COMPLIANCE AND CONTROL/POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Develop appropriate Pricing Policies and Procedures and Pricing Training manuals, delegate the compliance and control functions and ensure regular pricing audits take place with field marketing and sales; ensure effective Pricing Administration guidelines in order to minimize revenue leakage and/or lost revenue opportunities to acceptable levels as determined by APAC Officers.
FORECASTING ANALYSIS/YIELD MANAGEMENT
Review preliminary revenue plan forecast to ensure alignment with Revenue Management forecasts, manage and train staff to implement yield management strategies, tactics and reporting in order to help set accurate and achievable revenue targets for the division and to improve profitability.
REVENUE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT / MIS
Train staff to be proficient in using and maintaining all revenue management systems, ensure that effective and efficient system enhancements are developed, as well as local solutions for local pricing initiatives, direct development of accurate yield management segmentation and monitoring reports for management in order to improve productivity and to support the decision making process to maximize growth and profitability.
Prepare and submit annual budget to upper management; control, monitor and report results on a monthly basis in order to effectively manage resources and achieve budget targets.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing analysis or related analytical fields
Above five (5) years demonstrative experience in Finance and Marketing or similar quantitative business analysis, or related fields.
