About Our Client
Our client is a leading furniture design group, headquartered in Europe, they have over 30 years history and well organised manufacturing in China, Dongguan. As a market leader, they are strong in creative design and quality. Over 1000 staff in Dongguan and now they are looking for a professional PD Manager to support the business.
Coordinate the Management of Project developments activity in line with the defined quality standards and targets of the projects
Manage the Project Controllers Team in close cooperation with the NGDG Production Planner, Quality Manager and Design Director in Canada.
Acting responsible for managing the Sample Room, to coordinate all the actors and to prepare all the reporting documents to support product development in the required quality standards and in accordance with time schedule.
Work closely with the Global Quality Manager to make sure any sample, any spare parts are in compliance with company's quality standards before sending out (validation 50/50 between Product development department and Quality department)
The Successful Applicant
Fluent in both English and Chinese
Strong manufacturing and technical background
AutoCAD experience desired.
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite
Education : relevant technical degree in engineering (Mandatory, ideally in the furniture domains)
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of product development experience in retail or manufacturing
