About Our Client
Our client is a MNCs company involved in the distribution of research laboratory products, with over 1,200,000 items to more than 250,000 customers in North America and Europe. The company maintained operations in 25 countries and process approximately 50,000 order lines daily from a logistical network, which includes 25 strategically located distribution centers.
Set clear and measurable performance expectations and KPI for area's sales personnel.
Provide support and leadership in training and coaching direct reports on selling skills, products including time & territory management.
Provide continuous feedback on direct reports progress toward objectives.
Be responsible for all existing customers and expanding customer base in responsible area.
Conduct weekly sales meeting and sales forecast review, and manage both field sales, telesales and channel sales.
Make sure all accounts are profitable and maximizing profitability.
Be responsible for deploying resources as necessary to attain objectives.
Develop relationships and engages Suppliers within area of responsibility to maximize cooperation, marketing and profit goals. Acts as a key conduit to ensure effective communication between area sales force and VWR internal teams (Marketing, Operations etc.).
Analyze competitor and market forces and develops plans to achieve sales and profit goals.
Direct contact with key customers to develop customer relationships, negotiate agreements.
Conduct business reviews and solve business issues related to VWR.
Be responsible for sales, gross margin and EBITDA production and hitting assigned goals for all in assigned Area.
Lead change to maximize profitability, market share and Sales Rep productivity.
Performs other duties as assigned.
The Successful Applicant
University degree is required; Science preferred; MBA is a plus.
8-12 years experience preferred.
3-5 years of Sales Management experience in scientific products distribution-related business with a demonstrated track record of success and increasing responsibility.
