Today, they have established their success in mainland China market with double digital growth in the last 3 years and their annual sales revenue has achieved over RMB 2 billion in 2015 and the distribution network has been spread out most key Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.
Directly report to China CMO, you will be full responsible for developing and implementing an appropriate Marketing & Brand strategy for the company in mainland China and looking for breakthrough ways and new opportunities for the growth of the brand. You will play a key leader role to achieve the business goals.
This position covers the full marketing mix. You will have a deep and comprehensive understanding of consumers including their habits, needs, attitudes, purchase motivation and consumer insights etc, and analyze and monitor competitors in terms of brand positioning, communication strategy , products, brand performance in order to evaluate trends and identify category opportunities and business growth;
Leading a team of marketing professionals, you will develop long-term and annual branding and marketing plans & programs to ensure product launches /re-launches happen according to targeted timing with smooth process and high quality of the product mix i.e. formulation and packaging development , proper pricing plans, media plans, promotions and effective market support ; You also work closely with senior management team to monitor brand performance through sales and market data and be capable to react quickly to brand plans where it is considered necessary to ensure achievement of targets or where new opportunities become evident; You will be also responsible for annual budget allocation and ensure efficient market plans are within agree budget limits. Last but no least, you will hire, coach and develop a team of marketing expats for the business future growth.
The Successful Applicant
This is a challenging role that will suit a seasoned and energetic marketing executive. For the qualified candidate, you will be degree holder and have a minimum of 10 years marketing and branding experience at senior level roles with an FMCG environment. You should have solid experience on branding and category management in Mainland China with proven success working in a fast paced environment and as well as driving the innovation of the brand; You will be able to work with senior stakeholder and a strong leader who can inspire the teams. Good business thinking and communication skills are essential to this role. Proficiency in Mandarin and English will be required
