About Our Client
Our client is a global diversified technology and industrial leader serving customers in more than 150 countries.

Under general supervision of the Director of Marketing, develops and directs marketing and advertising projects as assigned, with the objective of meeting SLI sales and marketing goals.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Develop and implement marketing strategies for SLI division of Power Solutions to effectively sell its products and services to the Original Equipment and After-market trade.
2.Develop effective consumer marketing strategies for customers in retail and traditional markets. Consult and implement the strategies with the assistance of the assigned sales management and in coordination with the external customers. Works closely with management and in coordination with the external customers. Works closely with Category Management team to develop and executed retain category strategies.
3.Manage budgets for projects and assigned portions of the departmental budget.
4.Manage workload and goals effectively. May manage direct reports as assigned.
5.Continuously update labels, literature, logo guides, point of sale and promotional items. Assure proper and timely distribution of same to JCI personnel.
6.Communicate regularly with internal departments at all levels: Vice President of Sales, Director of Sales, Sales teams, Project Managers, Engineering, all marketing personnel in addition to external customers.
7.Makes presentations to customers (internal and external) to include a wide and divers levels of authority from V.P. of Purchasing, Advertising Managers and Buyers in conjunction with other sales efforts.
8.Keep in constant contact with advertising agency and outside vendors to manage projects outside of company. Negotiates pricing and terms with outside vendors for presentation to, and approval by, the Director of Marketing.
9.Develops collateral material - logos, brochures, presentation materials, advertising, etc.- in support of new product launches and customer promotions.
10.Other duties as required.
The Successful Applicant
*Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or equivalent experience.
*8 - 10 years of relevant sales or marketing experience, preferably with batteries or in the after-market arena
*Proficiency in computers and MS Office suite of products.
*Prior experience in consultancy/research highly desirable.
*Design experience, a plus.
*Must be able to fluently communicate in English and Mandarin Chinese.
