The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
*Passionate about technology and look for opportunities to learn and bring new ideas to the team
*Have experience of working in agile delivery teams
*Contribute, influence and develop technical & architectural strategy within the wider organization
*Focus on delivering quality, applying practices such as specification-by-example, TDD, build and test automation
*Establish an understanding of relevant business domains to help shape requirements to avoid unnecessary complexity
*Engage stakeholders across various teams and functional areas and with different levels of technical ability
*Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to other team members to high quality cost effective development
*Have a strong desire to share and promote best practice across functional areas at department level
*Have an innovative yet pragmatic approach to creating business and technology solutions
*Want to work in a cross function delivery team and take end to end accountability for quality delivery and operation
Additionally key skills are:
*Experience of working in an offshore location
*Ability to influence, utilising appropriate management styles
*Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
*Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
*Accuracy and attention to detail
*Experience of working confidently and professionally with senior management
*Experience of working in a complex, matrix managed environment.
